What is PI ALPHA PHI?
PI ALPHA PHI is the oldest active Asian American Interest fraternity. Founded at the University of California, Berkeley in 1929, there are currently 11 other active chapters as well as 9 emerging colonies across the nation.The goal of Omicron Chapter of Pi Alpha Phi at UC Santa Barara is to continue the everlasting tradition of excellence and brotherhood that we inherited from our charters in 2006 and the founding fathers before them. With our pillars as our guide, and brotherhood as our source of strength, the visions and traditions of Pi Alpha Phi will continue to be embraced at UC Santa Barbara.

Brotherhood.
Focused on the aspects of respect, trust, and loyalty, the brothers of Pi Alpha Phi create an extended family where lifelong bonds are made through tradition, mutual experience, and unity.
Academic Excellence.
The fraternity creates a studious environment and encourages each of its members to achieve their greatest academic potential. Obtaining good grades and graduating with a degree is every member's highest priority.
Philanthropy.
The fraternity is committed to its responsibility to serve and give back to our campus and community. We can be found actively participating in volunteer events around the community throughout the school year.
Leadership.
The fraternity consists of men who wish to stand above their fellow peers around campus as leaders. The fraternity helps members develop their leadership skills in preperation for their future careers and endeavors.
Asian-American Awareness.
Being an Asian American Interest Fraternity, Pi Alpha Phi strives to promote Asian American culture, heritage and history amongst its members.
